Adult Residential & Outpatient Treatment

Adult Behavioral Health Treatment

Residential and outpatient behavioral health programs located in North Carolina and Pennsylvania

Residential treatment is an appropriate level of care for women seeking recovery for the first time and would benefit from an immersive treatment plan with round-the-clock support. It’s also ideal for those who have been through treatment before but have since relapsed.

Our adult residential treatment programs are highly structured, but are designed to be non-restrictive. This allows you the freedom to grow and progress in your recovery while receiving as much support as you need.

What Does the Treatment Program Involve?

In our residential program, you’ll stay on-site with round-the-clock support as you work your treatment program. Treatment programming is scheduled between 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The average length of stay in our residential program is 8 weeks, but many clients choose to stay 10 weeks or longer.

Each week of our residential treatment program includes:

  • Two individual therapy sessions
  • One family therapy session
  • Individual and group nutrition sessions with a registered dietitian
  • Menu planning, food preparation, and mealtime support
  • Dietitian-supported grocery shopping and restaurant dining
  • Therapeutic groups, including acceptance and commitment therapy skills, body image, attachment, substance abuse recovery and nutrition education
  • Art therapy
  • Medical monitoring and medication management

To foster a calm, home-like environment where you can focus on your recovery, we limit program participation to no more than six clients at a time. You’ll reside in a house with 3-5 other people, providing a built-in support system as you each work toward recovery. Clients stay in cozy double bedrooms.

Our adult eating disorder residential treatment program is available at our Brevard location.

Adult Eating Disorder Day Treatment

Clients prepare and enjoy supportive meals together and participate in group sessions. These programs can last for up to eight hours per day.

We focus on improving body image, understanding nutrition, and balanced exercise. We strongly encourage family involvement in treatment. It is helpful for patients to have loved ones who are invested in their recovery.
